Goodbye 2017 Hello 2018
2017 was a great year, it was a year full of firsts, big decision, and great accomplishments. This past year had one of the biggest first of my life, it was the first full year I spent living with my husband. It was a year of learning about one another and how we work in our tiny NYC studio apt. Every day I was reminded how lucky and grateful I was to have such an Amazing husband. Another one of the highlights of the year was my senior recital. In my program at NYU the Fall semester of our senior year we are required to put on a senior recital. I had my senior recital on November 20th. It was one of my greatest accomplishments. I have never had to work so hard on something in my life. It was months of work preparing the songs, deciding on my sets, and cutting my character study. It was exciting when the day came to see all of my family and friends in the audience. It was one of the best and most stressful evenings of my life. I was surrounded by people who all love and support me. I'm so grateful to everyone who supported me this year. I'm looking forward to 2018 and all the exciting things it has to offer me.
Now what to expect for 2018...
This year I decided to actually make goals and stick to them. I'm going to use the blog to track my progress. I decided to make specific goals in two categories Health and Professional.
Health- I've been wanting to become a runner, so one of my health goals is to run a least three times a week. With this goal, I hope to work my way to run some races.
My Next health goal is to finish the BBG (Bikini Body Guide) twice. That would be constantly doing it three days a week for 24 weeks. I will start my 24-week journey on January 8th when my workout buddy comes back.
Career- This year I want to work as a performer. With school coming to an end and the opportunity to work as a full-time performer more realistic without having to balance school. I plan to go on as many auditions as possible with the intention to book.
My goal for my blog is to make regular helpful posts. I hope to provide inspiring information that can be helpful to other women. I want to share my experiences as wife, performer, and creator.
